  Gala Night

Be the first to experience the Singapore Flyer. Standing at 165 metres, and built at a phenomenal cost of $240 million Singapore dollars, its grand opening to the public is scheduled only for April 2008. SingLive delegates however will be the privileged few to get a sneak preview of this giant observation wheel!

The avant-garde Singapore Flyer is the brainchild of Dr. Kisho Kurokawa and his work partner DP architects. Showcasing the revolutionary slim ladder truss rim design, the Singapore Flyer is at once both lighter and bigger than the other iconic observational wheel, the London Eye.

Each ride on Singapore Flyer lasts for 30 minutes.
Standing a good 30 metres taller than the London Eye, it offers an uncompromising 360 degree unimpeded view to a distance of 45km on a clear day. Expect spectacular panoramic views of the Singapore skyline, the entire Marina Bay area, and beyond into parts of Malaysia and Indonesia.

After your ride, take a short walk to the Waterfront Dining Promenade, and tuck into a sumptuous dinner. Relax and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience!
